Beth, So glad you like them--that's a real compliment coming from such a great artist as yourself. I know Janet will appreciate that. I enjoy the star numerous times through the day as it moves in the wind and catches the light.

This piece is beautiful. How large was it? It looks like bronze, is that right? I like how it focuses attention. I'm sure everyone who passes does like you did....peek through it.

Hi Tracy,
These stained glass pieced are lovely. It's amazing the difference in the star looking at it from the front or from the back (whichever is which). All three are gorgeous!

I love the garden in winter. It is filled with a quiet energy that says, "Get ready, get ready, I'm coming" It is so thrilling to see the first sign of awakening.

By the way, tonight is the shortest night of the year. Go out and hug a tree (I always do) to assure it that spring is coming.

Hi Tracy! I love your ideas of gifts for the gardner. Giving websites and locations where the non-gardner can find items for their gardening partners is very helpful.

Letter to Santa:
Please give me one of each of the items Tracy mentioned.
Thank you, Santa.

Hi Tracy, those are some interesting gift ideas. I especially like the birdbath (gotta give myself a little something too;)

I recommended your book, The Well Tended Perennial Garden on my blog. If you would like to say something about the book, I will add your comments to my blog. And I would also like to add, it is one of my favorite gardening books. I certainly learned a lot about pruning from it.
